About me
I am a clinical social worker specializing in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and parents. Over the past 10 years, I have supported these populations in diverse settings, including pediatric hospitals, therapeutic boarding schools, boarding schools with international students, and with college students and young adults navigating the complexities of transition, independence, and self-discovery.
My approach combines relational, experiential, and strength-based theories, and I incorporate play therapy when appropriate. I believe that the relationship between clinician and client is one of the most important aspects of the therapeutic process. I am deeply committed to normalizing mental health challenges and acknowledging the difficulty of finding the right support.
In addition to my work as a therapist, I offer parent coaching services to help families navigate the challenges of their child's behavior, emotions, and developmental needs. For many parents, watching their child struggle can feel isolating and overwhelming. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where individuals and families can feel understood, gain insight, and develop the tools they need to thrive. I also work collaboratively with psychiatrists, educational consultants, and schools to deliver seamless and effective mental health treatment and psychoeducation.
